Immediate former Migori speaker Gordon Ogola has said he will not be in the ballot for county politics at 2022 general elections.

Ogolla said he has already informed his supporters that the vision he had for Migori county which made him the first speaker and vie for senator seat in 2017 is still active.

Speaking to Migori News in a special interview at his home in Kwa Ward, Ogolla said he will definitely not be in the ballot anymore.

“We are keen, very keen, in passing the vision we had for Migori together with my supporters but personally I will not be in for any elective post,” Ogolla insisted.

He said he will concentrate in running national politics as a kingmaker, especially in the presidential race in the year 2022.

“We are keen in shaping what will come out after the BBI referendum and the direction of the company at the national level,” Ogola said.

He thanked those who voted for him in the 2017 elections and key supporters of his bid to be the second senator of Migori in 2017.
