Shock as riled Karungu residents in Nyatike after a 42 years old man from Kobwaye area in Homa Bay county burnt himself at his inlaw’s house.

Albert Asiago is nursing serious burn injuries at St. Camillus hospital Sori area after his wife refused to go back with him.

He arrived at the home and tried to talk with his wife who refused to follow him back home.

“He excuse himself to go to toilet and where he used fuel he carried to set himself ablaze,” said South East Karungu location chief, James Oloo.

Oloo said they are yet to establish the cause of problem between husband and wife.
