Health executive denies child trafficking claims by activist

Migori county executive committee member in charge of Health has refuted claims by civil right activist of a child trafficking ring at Migori Level four hospital.

Speaking to the press in his office yesterday, Elijah Odhiambo refuted the claims as rumors which have gone viral online.

He termed the claims as “misplaced rumors based on malice to destroy the name of the ministry of health.”

“We have never heard of child trafficking cases in Migori and Nyanza as a whole. Anybody with tangible information to come out and record a statement with the police for investigation,” he advised.

Migori Clan, a local CBO official William Oloo had claimed via social media of child trafficking.
Earlier Oloo said they had received information of a woman who lost her child at the hospital
