Uriri politician Omondi Gwonyo has hit out at Migori county governor Zachary Obado saying he was not honest about his party loyalty.

Gwonyo said Obado his statements during public forums contradicted his actions on the ground where he pointed out at various sheds the governor had erected for bodaboda and taxi operators across the county.

He said the shades have been painted in PDP colours and he will take upon himself to re-paint them in ODM colours.

“Obado cannot claim to be in ODM yet shades he donated were painted in PDP’s theme colour, is that not fooling the people of Migori,” Gwonyo quipped.

The aspirant said he will again re-paint the taxi operators shade to scrap out Obado’s name from it and change it with “Hon. Raila Odinga For President 2017.”

“I will repaint it again and add the initials for Raila as Migori is an ODM zone Obado should stop hoodwinking locals while he is still in Jubilee,” he said.

A week ago during the Migori County Dialogue organised by Obado, the aspirant left the function after being denied time to talk and, through supports of youths had the shed donated by governor repainted in orange colour.

Initials “Donated by Hon. Zachary Okoth Obado first governor of Migori county” were also changed.

It forced Obado’s advisers to move in with cash and pacify the youths in Posta area the next morning before waiting for calm to inscribe governor’s initials back in the shade.

The new move by Gwonyo, is set to stock up tension around poster area further.
