Another is the Sh350million Isebania project at river Hibwa serving Kenya and Tanzania where pumps have been completely affected.

Migori County Water Services Board Managing Director Titus Okoyo said at Isebania, the intake at Sorore and Gatundu area has seen siltation which covered two pumps.

“At Oyani, flooding over a long period of time have seen the intake center being compromised and the river will be redirected,” Okoyo said.
