Residents of Gog Jope village, Suna East constituency are reeling in shock after a man was found in a compromising situation with a cow in a bush before he took off.

Ombima Atura is on the loose after he was ambushed as he engaged a cow belonging to his neighbor in a sexual act.

According to the owner of the cow Ezekiah Ndong’a, his wife had gone to move his cow to another spot Tuesday afternoon when he saw Atura, half naked with the cow undeterred.

It was at this point that Ndong’a’s wife let out a loud scream alerting the villagers of the ungodly act she had found taking place on her only cow.

“My wife said she tried her best at screaming and wailing to alert the villagers who streamed at the bush,” Ndong’a said.

Holding the trouser up with a stick for people to see, he said Atura fled the scene leaving behind his trouser and undergarments.

Confirming the incident, God Jope location area Chief Elisha Oluoch said they had mounted a search to find Atura whom he claimed was an embarrassment to their community.

Oluoch said that he had a backlog of cases concerning Atura’s sexual offences adding that he had just been released from prison after serving for a rape case.

“I think this man is being haunted with demons. It is just the other day that he was convicted of rape,” Oluch said.

The Tuesday incident left the Manyatta area residents reeling in shock as said man happens to have a family and children.

Village elders held an impromptu meeting to deliberate on procedures of a cleansing ceremony of the man’s home.

“We have never seen this in this village since we were kid. This is a taboo that needs cleansing to protect the kids from this curse,” a village elder who will oversee the cleansing rites said.

The area chief urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of the sexually deviant man for a reward of a goat as it is feared he may cause more harm.
