Rongo town are in shock and fear after a body of unknown woman was picked floating at a fish pond next to the car wash area of Winter estate.

Musa Otieno, a car wash worker said he arrive at dawn for work when he noticed a body floating in one of the ponds.

“When I called friends they confirmed our worse fears. We reported the matter to polce immediately,” he said.

Confirming the incident, Rongo OCPD Jonathan Muganda Kisaka said they viste the scene and took away the body to Homa Bay County Referral hospital mortuary.

“The woman is approximately 30 years and the body had no physical injuries,” he said.

He also said that the finger prints were taken and will be sent to Nairobi in order to identify the deceased body as investigations continue.
