A class six boy has been killed at Komolorume in Awendo over suspected links to theft.

The boy’s body was discovered this morning by locals who were going about their business at the center.

The boy’s father George Ocholla who spoke to Migori News at Komolorume said he had warned his son after he realized he was keeping bad company.

Ocholla said he suspected his son was being used by thieves to do surveillance at potential targets before they strike.

“Its only yesterday that I thoroughly caned a form one boy Bon, who was influencing my son towards these unlawful acts,” Ocholla said amid tears.

He added, “This child insists he is looking for money while in reality there is nothing he lacked. It’s sad that I am struggling to make ends meet yet he is involved in theft.”
