A man from South Sakwa ward in Awendo is facing charges of defiling a minor Rongo Senior Magistrate Raymond Langat.

Samuel Onyango Oduor, alias Naum denied the charges of defiling the 11 years  girl.

He committed the crime on January 10 and was arrested a day later being arraigned before the court on January 14.

He faced defilement charges contrary to section 8(1)(2) of the sexual offense cap 62a of the laws of Kenya.

He was released on a bond of Sh100,000 with the case set to be mentioned on January 25 with hearing on February 12.
