“The principal left us saying he was going to bring the examination and he never returned,” Okoth said.

He said they were taking certificate and diploma courses at the college in Kakrao ward for five years and they paid Sh9,000 and Sh12,000 respectively for exams.

They want the government to come to their aid over missed chances.

Migori County Early Childhood Education Director John Adawo said the college did not submit examination money saying they owed them Sh287,230.

“The students raised their concern on the ordeals that they were going through but according to our records at the office and the examination council the college did not pay the exam fees and at the same time did not submit the names of the students and so they cannot seat the exams until they pay and submit the names of their students, “ he said.

He said the two did not honor summons to the CID headquarters which has seen police launch a manhunt.
