Wetangula urges Kuria community to vote for him as President

Ford Kenya party leaders senator Moses Wetangula today toured Kuria region, a week after ODM leaders Raila Odinga visited the region asking Kuria community to vote CORD in the 2017 general election.

Senator Wetangula said the three CORD principles will agree on the flag bearer to face jubilee in the coming election but maintained that he is the most suitable urging the Kuria community and other Kenyans to support his bid.

Watangula said he has supported ODM leaders Raila Odinga two times and it will be good for Raila to return the favors by supporting his presidential bid in 2017.

He said the CORD coalition has not choice but to remain united so that they can dislodge the jubilee government from power in 2017.

Despite Kuria lying in ODM strong hold, the voting pattern of the region has been unpredicted a trend that has encouraged many political parties to woo votes from the region.

In 2013 election, the people of Kuria gave an overwhelming support to jubilee coalition by not only voting members of parliament on URP and KANU tickets but also voted jubilee coalition for presidency.

Meanwhile Wetangula told the people of Kuria to be very careful with jubilee party saying that it’s a failed government that has nothing much to offer and can only make false promises.

The FORD Kenya leader was accompanied by Awendo Member of Parliament Hon.Jared Kopiyo who has urged the three CORD principles to agree on one candidate to fly the CORD flag when the right time comes.
