Suba South MP Caroli Omondi said despite being expelled by the ODM party they will still meet President William Ruto next week.

Omondi said the decision taken by ODM will be a big embarrassment to the people.

“We were called by people to bring development and next week we will still meet with President William Ruto for this,” Omondi said.

He said the decision by ODM was like having a political knife on his throat.

“We need roads which are not built by harambee and church donations, we will bring roads in Suba South and putting up with the sugar industry,” Omondi said.

“We have not done any problem and we have been taken for a ride, Mbadi (nominated MP and ODM chair) chaired the meeting to remove me,” Omondi said.

The legislator said other leaders from ODM from other communities meet the president and not letter is written to them.

“Why only Luos who are written these letters? My people should know we are not mad and there is nothing we can do until in 2027 because Ruto is the president,” he added.

He was speaking in Uriri on Sunday when he was hosted by area MP Mark Nyamita alongside speaker Moses Wetangula and other leaders
