Atwech, the Kenyatta University graduate killed by the boyfriend at Kahawa Wendani estate had 22 Stab wounds, a Wednesday post mortem report revealed.

Edna Nyainda, 22, died of excessive bleeding following the stabbing by her 36-year-old ex-military officer Maxwell Ochieng.

Government pathologist Johansen Odour conducted the postmortem.

The suspect is currently under police watch at a hospital in Kiambu where he is receiving treatment for a stab wound in the abdomen.

Ochieng had stabbed himself in the stomach.

Nyainda who graduated on July 15, was killed in a rented room in a residential building near Nakumatt Supermarket.

She is said to have had an argument with Ochieng, after breaking the news to him.
