Nyatike MP Edick Omondi Anyang’a has challenged ODM supporters in Homa Bay County to create peace and unity after just concluded hotly contested grass root elections.

Anyanga said Homa Bay must foster unity since ODM chairman and Suba MP John Mbadi comes from the county and greater South Nyanza region.

Addressing press in Migori town on Friday Anyanga asked Homa Bay women representative Gladys Wang’a and Homa Bay Town MP Peter Opondo Kaluma to find an amicable solution.

“The two hold the key party unity and should work out ways to make it stronger through controlling their supporters.” Anyang’a said.
He asked those who rebelled against ODM party during the last election to come back and support the party come 2017.

“ODM is open to all those who defected and they should come back to strengthen the party,.” He said.

He added: “We will bring everyone on board even those who broke ranks with the party to form a formidable team that will ensure Raila Odinga clinches the seat.”

The national legislator added that as the party seeks a national outlook, it must also work towards bringing the people of Nyanza together.
