A father from Nyatike is being sought by police for killing his daughter after she spent the night at her boyfriend’s house at night.

The deceased aged 17 was a form four student.

The father realised after supper that the minor had escaped around 10pm and looked for her severally before waiting for her to come back at about 4:30am.

The angry father is said to have beaten the girl unconscious and she was pronounced dead at about 6am when she was rushed to a local dispensary.

The ugly incident happened at Amoyo Village in Got Kachola ward, Nyatike sub-county.

Nyatike sub-county police boss Dorothy Migarusha said they have launched a manhunt for the suspect as the body of the minor has been taken to a local morgue awaiting post mortem examination.
