Migori police arrested an woman with bhang worth Sh15million at the home of Osege Odhiambo, a resident of Buembe village in Suna West sub-county.
Police said they netted 531 kilograms of bhang and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested Molinter Adhiambo Juma, 26.
The officers were using a dog from Isebania Border Post to make the arrest.
“A woman implicated in the trafficking of 531Kg of bhang which was earlier today seized at a home compound within Buembu village in Migori is in police custody,” the DCI said.
Detectives added that 9 sacks of cannabis sativa sticks and another 8 containing the unrefined drug were found at the home.
Osege and unidentified man escaped police and their is a manhunt.
