The Nyanza branch of National Alliance Rainbow Coalition Kenya party has threatened to sue two institutions over reports their offices are used for nursery school.

The party through their local headquarters in Nyanza province has threatened to sue Institute of Education in Democracy (IED) and Nation Media Group for defamation over publication of the story.

Jackson Abuor, the Nyanza region NARC coordinator said the report has placed him at loggerheads with his bosses.

“The two should apologize over their report which stated that the party offices in Rongo and Homa Bay are closed down and the premise being used as Early Childhood Education center and students hostels respectively,” he said.

He told Migori News from Rongo office that they are working to spearhead member registration and all region’s 22 executives are active.

“This report was malicious. We have been receiving funds from national office for operation which painted us negatively,” he said.

He threatened to move to court over the issue.
