Migori County ODM chairman Philip Makabong’o has said two rebel legislator will not be allowed to be part of Friday meeting by leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking to Migori News, the chair said Uriri MP Mark Nyamita and his Rongo counterpart Paul Abuor are not yet part of plans on Friday.

The two legislators were each fined Sh1million for rebelling against the ODM party and working with President William Ruto and supporting the Finance Bill 2023.

They were also told to apologise and pay up the fine in sixty days.

“As far as we are concerned they are yet to pay the fine even though they called it loose change to them, and they are yet to apologise,” Makabong’o said.

he said on Friday Raila will be hosted for lunch by Suna West MP Peter Masara before having a townhall meeting at Maranatha Hall where he will meet with ODM officials, church leaders and elders.
