A cross dressing Luo comedian Min Jacky has seen the Seventh Day Adventist church ban him from functions.

The Southern Kenya Lake Field in an internal memo dated October 10 seen by Migori News has instructed the church to regulate master of ceremonies especially in gospel choir album launches.

The official have said they have taken away rights to invite MCs from church officials and local pastors over the incident where the comedian took part in a launch.

“The engagement of master of ceremonies will only be done by approvalof church boards  and church business respectively,” the church said.

A church elders will also be appointed during the launches to ensure the word of God is protected.

“Any form of entertatinment or celebrity performamnces on church pulpit to be refrained from  with immediate effect,” the church added saying only ordained pastors should be in the pulpit,.

A solo artist Lourine Otieno has been banned from winging within any churches under the field.

The church has based its decision from Deuteronomy 22:5 which says “the woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”
