Tom Mboya Rachuonyo, a Migori based journalist with Mediamax limited underwent brain surgery late last year and has not recovered fully.

Rachuonyo who developed memory lapses among other side effects due to the delicate operation still require time to relax.

Since recovery is a process, his family members have appealed to well wishers, donors and charitable organizations and individuals to assist in payment of school fees for his children who are in colleges and national schools.

Rachuonyo’s family said they have no alternative source as the father was the sole bread winner and his children should not drop out of school due to fees problem.

The children are in various learning institutions in the country and helping them to acquire quality education would give them a stable source of livelihood.

His daughter Faith Mboya said the operation was delicate but God saved his life.

“We are appealing to both National and County governments to to ensure none of them was out of school due to fees,” she said.
