Yesterday in Rapogi area, Uriri constituency Women Representative ODM candidate Pamela Odhiambo advocated for six piece voting pattern by openly supporting the candidature of fellow candidate governor Okoth Obado.

This was during the Nyanza Presidential Campaign Team meeting organised by URIRI MP ODM candidate Mark Nyamita.

Team is coordinated by Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga and nominated MP Oburu Odinga.

Earlier the crowd received coldly the mention of her name for six piece voting pattern and chanted the name of her main rival Fatuma Mohammed.

They accused Odhiambo of supporting Independent candidate for the governor seat Ochilo Ayacko. READ STORY HERE

“When I was campaigning I agreed to work with all ODM candidates after primaries, anybody calling the name of Ochilo for me should leave me in peace,” she declared.

Obado’s later said he had no personal problem with her and said they will work together as team ODM together with senator candidate SEN. Ben Oluoch Okello.

During campaigns primaries Obado had aligned himself with Fatuma while Ayako was closer to Odhiambo, which has brought an awkward position in six piece campaigns.
