Okong’o will face off with senator Ochillo Ayacko, Woman Representative Pamela Odhiambo and businessman Philip Mwabe for the party ticket.

“I will change the Migori governor campaigns and spin it on it’s head with direct benefit to voters,” Okong’o said.

The aspirant said he plans to organise a tag-of-war for youths in the boda boda sector and the winner will be given motorbikes.

Women through groups will also benefit from poshomills while for the first time beach management units will get boats.

The aspirant has been causing a buzz on the campaign trail with a orange painted boat which has been forming part of his caravan by being carried along on a canter.
