CORONAVIRUS: Ugunja MP Wandayi, MCA and county executive deny contact with positive priest

Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi and the area MCA where a priest who tested positive for Coronavirus held a mass funeral has denied any contact.

Two and Siaya county tourism executive have denied contact with Father Richard Onyango Oduor who jetted in from Rome, Italy, where he is based.

Oduor has since been since been quarantined at Mbagathi hospital, while government has launch tracing of those who were in contact with him.

A local daily which contacted the three leader said they denied contact, but a joint anti-coronavirus team led by Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga and County Commissioner Michael Ole Tialal has called on them to self-quarantine.

In Migori, Three Catholic nuns from Rapogi are among over 60 people who have been traced for being in contact with priest.
