FULL LIST: Ageng’a, Nyabisawa, Lwanda Magwar, Kibuon and Isaya Munde has all results cancelled, candidate to repeat

Finally government has confirmed that five secondary schools in Migori county has all their candidates’ results in last year national examinations cancelled.

On Tuesday January 15 government confirmed that candidates at Nyabisawa Girls in Suna East, Isaya Munde in Uriri and three in Nyatike: Lwanda Magwar, Kibuon and Ageng’a had entire list cancelled.

The schools are planning to have all students be registered again to sit their examinations in 2019.

Migori county director of education Elizabeth  Otieno confirmed the list.

At Ageng’a where investigations indicate that the entire 169 candidates were involved in irregularities, the school’s chair of BOM Kennedy Akongo said they plan “to have all the 169 students affected enroll and re sit the exams this year.”

“Besides the report by KNEC, we have no other material against which to verify the contents but beginning now, we shall strive to get to the bottom of it as we reach out to the individual students affected,” he said on his official post.

The outcome and final decision is expected on Wednesday.
