Raila makes Pamela homecoming successful despite propaganda, Obado and Junet skipping

Success

By MN Reporter

The Migori Women Representative Pamela Odhiambo homecoming party at Piny Oyie in Suna West constituency was a huge success for her.

Attempts by her political enemies to scuttle the function altogether which started by a fake opinion poll placing her as worst performing Women Representative and social media propaganda fell flat.

Until Friday afternoon, her political enemies were relishing that ODM leader Raila Odinga was going to skip the function and gloated full swing about it on social media through their bloggers.

But when the party through their verified twitter account confirmed the enigma’s attendance, her enemies went on last minute attempt to malign the function with a Facebook post castigating youths circulated.

“By coming here today you (Raila) have proven that you stand by women in your leadership,” Pamela said.

Her crowning moment is when Raila gave her a ‘clean bill of health’ by lauding her strong stance for the party by using her religious belief and academic prowess.

“When in meetings, it is Pamela who always starts off by praying for us. I am proud to have her as among my strong supporters in Migori,” Raila said.

Raila took time to explain the absence of Suna East MP Junet Mohammed whom he had sent for an errand, despite attacks directed on social media by his supporters against Pamela.

“Most of my colleagues at assembly traveled that is why they never made it to this function I have their apology,” Pamela said.

While Senator Ben Oluoch Okello is out in India for treatment and sent his manager, former North Kamagambo MCA Richard Solo, Governor Okoth Obado gave the function a wide berth.

The governor didn’t even bother to send any explanation even to his colleague Siaya Governor Amoth Rasanga who arrived at the function.

The reasons for that are covered in our other post here:

Despite the hiccup leaders who graced the occasion were: Peter Masara (Suna West MP), Mark Nyamita (Uriri MP), Tom Odege (Nyatike MP), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo MP), Otiende Amollo (Rarieda MP), Millie Mabona (Mbita MP), Jackline Oduol (nominated MP), James Orengo (Siaya Senator), Cleophas Malala (Kakamega senator) among others.
