Anti-riot police officers fired teargas canister and bullets in the air to disperse occupy IEBC demonstrators in Migori town earlier today.

The crowd had first demonstrated within town carrying twigs and placards before peacefully moving to local IEBC offices outside town.

It turned chaotic when police fired teargas, according to county ODM chairman Philip Makabong’o with several youths were injured.

He said they will continue demonstrating until IEBC commissioners are removed from office.

“Chaos may turn into post election violence next year if the commissioners don’t go home. We need them out,” Makabong’o said.
