Obado hoodwinking Ruto, UDA while building his PDP. Should seek his rallies- Gov aspirant Moronge

By MN Reporter,

As Deputy President William Ruto is struggling to hold his troops together in Nyanza region, Migori County gubernatorial aspirant feels she was sidelined and showed cold shoulder during his visit to Migori.

Jane Moronge Marwa claimed that supremacy battles in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and PDP rocked the region and majority of UDA delegates who DP came to meet were torn apart as internal wrangles threatened to scuttle his 2022 State House bid.

Moronge said they positioned themselves strategically to influence the party’s affairs in Migori by seeking to win the DP’s confidence yet PDP candidates led by Governor Okoth Obado carried the day.

The UDA candidate said she was denied chance to address electorates from Rongo town, Ranen, Awendo and was literally blocked from attending delegate meeting held in Homabay town before heading to Sori, Muhuru, Masara then to Migori town.

She alleged that some politicians were literally conning Ruto while recruiting members to their political parties and planning to frustrate him.

Moronge wondered why governor Obado who is also PDP party leader was with Ruto throughout his visit asking if there was a looming merger or some considered partnering with other parties.

The allegations were confirmed by the county Secretary General Mr. Fredrick Oremo saying their sacrifice and dedication to receive the party leader was curtailed and undermined by the PDP gatecrashers.

Oremo doubted whether the actual amount issued by DP to empower different groups reached them.Ends
