Finally Migori governor Okoth Obado and two aides will face 37 witnesses in a hearing of the murder case.

Obado will face murder charges over gruesome death of his girlfriend Sharon Otieno and their unborn son.

He will face the hearing alongside his aides Michael Juma Oyamo and Caspal Obiero with state counsel lining up 37 witnesses.

The first hearing date was set for 16th March 2020 but was pushed forward “because of scaling down of court process due to Covid 19 rules.”

The new date has been set for 5-15 July 2021.
