Nyatike police are investigating a case where a four years old child murdered his two and a half years old colleague while playing.

The minor killed his friend at Olasi village under under unclear circumstances.

Area police boss Dishon Chebaka said the two kids were reported to have been playing when the fateful incident occurred.

He said that the incident was reported Olasi chief John Ocholla the minor used a jembe to attacked his victim who died instantly.

The police boss however said that the police are on the ground to investigate what exactly transpired before the murder incident.

The body of the deceased is preserved at Migori level four hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
