#KCPE2018 Migori records highest number of candidates, centers with only 4 from hospital

Migori county recorded the highest number of candidate in 2018 KCPE results released by Education CS Amina Mohammed.

According to KNEC, here are the figures for just concluded results for Migori.

  • 794 exams centers in 2018: 198 Private and 596 public. In 2017 there were 769 centers, 185 private and  584 public, an increase.
  • In 2018 Migori had a total of 13,077 girls and 13,831 boys sitting for examination with a total of 26,908. In 2017 there were 11,956 girls and 2,797 boys with a total of 24,753. This was 294 more in a year.
  • Migori county 3 blind students, compared to 0 last year.
  • Low vision candidates were 15 compared, the same number in 2017.
  • Those who were physically handicapped were 23 compared to 15 in 2017
  • Those who were hearing impaired were 42 competed to 40 in 2017
  • In total, 83 candidates in 2018compared to 70 in 2017 had disabilities
  • Only 4 took exams in hospital, compared to 1 in 2017 with no prisoner sitting the examinations.
