Rakwaro FC trounced Rare FC 3-1 in post penalty shootout to clinch the East Kamagambo Shadrack Nyawade tourney soccer finals played at Opapo Primary school grounds.
The two entertaining teams who are also neighbouring clubs went on a barren draw before going straight to the penalties with Rakwaro FC converting three of their take to win the match retaining the trophy for the second time.
Meanwhile Opapo FC who were the host beat Sare fc 1-0 with Samwel Otieno scoring the only goal to finish third in the tourney.In other disciplines.
Opapo FC beat Ngere FC 14-0 in the netball women finals of the tournament.
While speaking during the final day of the tournament East Kamagambo MCA Hon.Shadrack Nyawade who is also the sponsor of the tournament applauded the youths and women who turned up to take part in the five day activity saying it was aimed at empowering them as well as help them realize their dreams alongside identifying and promoting their talents especially during these festive season.
During the event, Rakwaro FC went home with a trophy,a bull set of uniform and a ball,as the first runners up pocketing Ksh.10,000, a calf, set of uniform and a ball, with the second runners up going home with Ksh.5000, a he goat set of uniform and a ball.
In the netball,the winners pocketed Ksh.5000 set of uniforms and a ball,with the First runners up going home with Ksh.3000 set of uniform and a ball and the second runners up pocketing Ksh,2000 set of uniform and a ball.
