Minyenya fc thrushed Lwala fc 4-0 in the second day of the Awiti Memorial tourney that is currently taking place at Sumba primary school grounds in North Kamagambo Rongo Sub County.
In other matches,Uriri fc lost to Kadiang’a fc 1-0 as Milambo fc also beat Miyare fc 1-0,Kameji fc supplanted Andingo fc 2-0 with Kadianga fc humiliating Nyaburu fc 1-0 before Uriri fc also beating Komito fc 1-0.
In the soccer women,Andingo starlets went to a burren draw with komito queens.
One of the sponsor of the tourney Mr.Zachary Otieno Oketch urged the youths who are participating in the tournament to make good use of their opportunity for enhancing their talents as well as keeping them busy during this holiday which he said is their major aim for organizing such a tournament at this time.
The tournament which will end on the 14th of this month,involves both men and women soccer with 23 teams participating 6 for the women and the rest 17 are for the men.
Today’s matches includes,Kuna fc Vs Nyang’ao fc,Sango fc Vs K.Rangers,Sumba fc who are the host Vs Kadiang’a fc,Young Boys club Vs Milambo Fc,Nyaburu Fc Vs Komito fc and K.Rangers Vs Anding’o fc.
In the soccer women Tukjowi fc will be meeting Sumba queens.
