Michael Olunga’s 18th minute penalty goal opened scoring for Gor Mahia FC to beat Uriri Combined FC 4-1.

The friendly match was played at Uriri high school grounds on Thursday.

This followed a mid-week win over Sony Sugar by a solitary goal on Wednesday at Awendo the Green stadium, a goal which was scored by Ali Bondo.

The green army extended their lead again in the 36th minutes with a sensational header from Jery Santos before the lanky forward strike added another shot past Uriri goal keeper Ezekiel Obuya from a close range.

K’Ogalo showed their might over Uriri by humiliating them to remain on course of bagging the Kenya premier league title yet again as the mid-fielder Ernest Wendo beat the off side trap of his opponents to shake the net with a dribble off the easy ball over Ezekiel Obuya to make it fourth goal  in the 76th minutes.

Paul Okoth, the captain of Uriri had a goal ruled as offside when he dribbled past Gor’s keeper Jerry Onyango before James Matunga gave his side a consolation at the stroke of the 90th minute of the game.

Uriri MP John Kobado sponsored the game with an aim of promoting football talent in his constituency.
