When the August 9 general elections will go to annals of history the name Gordon Ogola will stick out.

Ogola, an Advocate of the High Court and Kanu Legal and Administration Director will be among legal brains that will shape the elections.

Ogola was among players who crafted the One Kenya Alliance coalition agreement that brought Kanu, Wiper and other parties.

This came after ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula bolt out of OKA and joined Deputy President William Ruto.

“We have passed and negotiated through murky waters of politics and brought up a legal coalition document at a nick of time,” Ogolla said.

Ogolla said the OKA agreement will pave way for the team to formally join Azimio la Umoja coalition.

“Our main agenda is to ensure we are firmly in the next government, secondly we will revamp KANU as a party at grass root level,” Ogola said.

The former Migori speaker vied as a senator on ODM ticket in the last general elections before leaving elective politics.

“I decided to be a kingmaker and a pointman in national politics and I am out shaping the destiny of Kenya,” he said.
