Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga is poised to be the first female governor in western Kenya if an opinion poll is to go by.

The survey was conducted between 30th June – 4th July 2022 by Mizani Africa polls.

Gladys Wanga, and ODM candidate leads by 57.3% and Evans Kidero, former Nairobi governor and an Independent candidate having 39.6%.

Acting to the polls undecided voters are only 3%, which shows the outcome is already decided.
