Nyatike constituency politician Odiso Ogenga has called on area voters to registers with the ruling United Democratic Alliance party for development.

Speaking at a social event in the constituency, Ogenga said for a long time Nyatike and Nyanza region has been under dominance of ODM party and so far the region should shift their political base.

“I ask Nyatike to remain united and voters to come out in large numbers to register as UDA because already we have shown President William Ruto that we are keen to embrace him,” Ogenga said.

He said Nyatike like other parts of the country should seek for development from the president and push through a peaceful co-existence.

“We want to have very peaceful politics and as UDA members we want to tell ODM we come in peace and they should not threaten us with violence,” he said.

Ogenga called on area elected leaders, despite being in ODM, to come together and push for development agenda especially through completion of Masara-Muhuru Bay road.
