Machakos governor Alfred Mutua has gone ahead to fulfill his campaign mission of propelling Machakos County in development.

To that end he is laying down a tartan running track round the Machakos Kenyatta Stadium.

“This was the first stadium constructed by county governments since devolution. It will be the first county to put up such a track,” Mutua said.

“This track will open up the stadium to a wider spectrum of sporting activities,” he added.
