Youths Against Drugs and Substance and HIV/AIDs (YADASAH) has curbed for behavioral change to end Migori high HIV infection.

Yadasah said the two levels of government and other NGOs in the county should deal with HIV prevention to focus on the Behavioral intervention to reduce HIV prevalence in the country.

The YADASAH chairman Okoth Ochanjo said the behavioral intervention done with available platforms to educate the public will reduce the high intervention.

Ochanjo said improving treatment for the people living with HIV and provision of condoms to the youths is also necessary to help in the fight against HIV in Migori County and other parts of Kenya.

He said many people have died of HIV because they are not given better treatment and counseling.

Meanwhile he calls on the people to avoid discriminating people living with HIV and instead give them care and support they require.

He said it’s unfortunate that some families have abandoned their loved ones because of their HIV status.

He was speaking recently when the organisation distributed condoms to students at Rongo University College.
