(VIDEO) Obado Asks Ayacko To Make Headcount Public, Not Victimise Staff Close To Him

Former Migori governor Okoth Obado has said the ongoing headcount by the incumbent Ochillo Ayacko has been used to victimize those close to him.

Obado who stepped down on August 9 after serving his two terms as the county boss . He said a guise to streamline the payroll and weed ghost workers,

Ayacko has started to victimize staff. Speaking to the press in his Rapogi rural home in Uriri constituency,

Obado said he has retired from politics and is giving Ayacko time to deliver to voters but warned him against victimizing staff.

But in past interviews and public forums, Ayacko said the exercise was being done in a humane way and no staff was being victimized as they seek to streamline the payroll.

But Obado said public service boards are independent bodies which employ staff and there are laws that protect staff.
