The Monday Nyanza Presidential Campaigns Team in Uriri with calls for six piece voting pattern in ODM went smoothly even though two wards still lack the last piece.

North Kanyamkago MCA George Omamba and his East Kanyamkago counterpart Reuben Keya who were both cleared as ODM candidates are still fighting court battles.

Omamba skipped the functions all together was represented by his colleagues while Keya took the chance to say the cases have taken a dimension of governor Okoth Obado and Independent governor candidate Ochilo Ayako.

Keya was taken to court by Boaz Abwao Kivanda, with the case still ongoing.

“It is support of governor Obado that has brought the matter of politics in this matter, but I have faith of winning. A thief may have stolen my cow, but I have faith of recovering it,” Keya said.

Hon Alex Jaoko Akugo Central Kanyamkago MCA who represeneted Omamba said the ward will support him if he wins the case.

The campaign team is coordinated by Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga and Nominated MP Oburu Odinga among others.

They were hosted by governor Okoth Obado and Uriri MP ODM candidate Mark Nyamita.

Other leaders who were present were senator ODM candidate Ben Oluoch Okello, nominated MCAs Helen Oyaro and Eunita Kokeyo.
