An MP from Migori county paid a senior ODM official Sh7.5 million to secure his nomination for last year’s election.

The MP delivered the cash on the last day the party was taking the list of nominees to the IEBC. Because of the popularity of ODM in the area, the lawmaker made it to Parliament.

He has since been boasting that he is untouchable because he has Sh300 million in his bank account.
