Jack Okula, a lawyer from Suna West is leading the race for the speaker position.

Okula lost by 3 votes in 2013 to former speaker Gordon Ogolla who was votes by 20 members.

“My vision for Migori assembly still stands, I am lobbying to cut loose ends and get round one win,” he said.
