Suna East MP aspirant Samuel Amimo Odongo has said the constituency bursary form issuance was done in fraudulent way and was full of nepotism.

Amimo said in issuing forms, those who were against the incumbent Junet Mohamed were openly told off not to pick or file in the forms.

“For the past decade in Suna East bursary has been used as a political money with issuing the process being irregular, those who are known to be independent in their political choice have been told to keep off from picking forms,” Amimo said.

He was speaking to the press in Migori town today.

He said he will seek to not only re-organise the issuance of bursary, but work on a blue print and agenda from Suna East that will come up with policies and strategies to deal with health, security, education and help end poverty by ensuring locals earn a meaningful living.

“We will achieve this by ensuring quality people drive leadership and not absentee leadership voters are currently faced with,” he said.
