Migori Woman Representative candidate on Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket Dennitah Ghati has lost her mum.

Ghati lost her mum on Tuesday, and the two have been close with the the first county legislator terming her as “My pillar my everything.”

“Oooooh MAMA. Why God, why now???? Just like that I have lost you MAMA,” Ghati posted on her social media post.

Ghati’s mother has been a matriarch for the family and was among key political pillar for Ghati when she first joined politics in 2013 and was elected as the first county woman representative.

She is from Maeta village in Kuria East and was a business lady in Kehancha town.
