Paul Abuor wants the Rongo parliamentary seat declared vacant and urged area MP Dalmas Otieno to voluntarily step down to popularise his Kalausi party.

Abuor, a Rongo constituency parliamentary aspirant in the March 4, 2013 general election challenged Dalmas to step aside and test the popularity of his party if he thinks ODM is not popular in Migori county.

“Instead of issuing statements from shadows he should come out clearly the same way Cord leader Raila Odinga resigned from parliament to vie in NDP ticket for Langata constituency,” he said.

His sentiments were shared by another local politician Philip Makabong’o who is also county ODM Vice Chairman.

Makabong’o said they write a letter to Orange House to push for Dalmas to be pushed out of the party and parliament to follow up a letter they wrote four months ago to throw the legislator from the party.
