Former Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno Anyango and his running mate Thomas Maneno Mwikwabe have been cleared to run for Migori gubernatorial seat in the August 9, 2022 General Election.

The pair was cleared on Saturday afternoon t the Migori IEBC offices sed in Suna East.

Otieno and Mwikwabe will vie on the Jubilee ticket under Azimio la Umoja.

Speaking after cleared by County returning officers Mr. Ben Moseti, Otieno asked his competitors for peaceful campaigns saying there’s life after the general elections.

He asked his supporters to preach peace and grant peaceful environment to his opponents so that they are not disqualified from the race. 

Also cleared for the same seat were Joseph Owiso Ngao and his running mate Julius Magige Chacha who requested for peace in the race. 

Ngao promised to accept defeat if not elected.
