County police commandant insists they work closely with judiciary

Migori police commandant Moses Chepyegon has denied claims that they are at logger heads with county judiciary officials.

He refuted claims that the police are at loggerhead with the judiciary.

His reaction of the police comes following the story that appeared in one of the daily newspapers that the Migori magistrates are impeding justice in the courts.

Speaking to the Migori News in an interview, Chepyegon said the report was a rumour set to create unnecessary creating bad blood between the two units of justice.

He said none of the police officer spoke about such information saying that their relationship with the Migori Court is still obdurate

The police boss said the report portrayed the judiciary in bad light,

Chepyegon maintains that the relationship between the police and Migori courts is symbiotic and that there are no
wrangles as earlier reported in the paper.

The police boss urged the judiciary to maintain the good work and relationship they have enjoyed.
