The Orange Democratic Movement party on Tuesday instigated a move to de-whipped six Members of the County assembly for hosting President William Ruto on Saturday.

Speaker Owino Likowa in a session confirmed the party wrote to them and said the party said they lack confidence in their four members names:

1. Hon. George Okinyi Omamba – Chair Health Services Committee and (North Kanyamkago)

2. Hon. Eunice Odii- Member Of the Speaker’s Panel ( Central Kanyamkago)

3. Hon. Norman Ogolla – Chair Education Committee ( East Kanyamkago) 

4. Hon. Samson Olima Obonyo- Chair Water and Energy ( North Kadem)

In the move all four have been removed as chair of their committees with Odi being replaced in the the Speakers panel by nominated MCA Philisters Makabong’o.

A fifth MCA Osewe Collince of North Kamagambo was replaced from the speaker’s panel by Tagare MCA Moses Magwe.

The sixth and the last MCA Peter Mijungu was elected on Independent ticket but the move did not spare him as his members collected signatures and kicked him our as the chair of the Committee of Justice and Legal Affairs.
