BOOST: Eddy gaining ground in Kuria with Hodo endorsement

Migori senator candidate Eddy Oketch has received a major boost for after his rival Solomon Hodo stepped down to support him.

The move has thrown a new twist for the polls a week to voting after Hodo, who was running on a People’s Democratic Party, withdrew from the race and supported of the Federal Party of Kenya candidate.

The two campaigned together with Hodo saying he took the move after “fter lengthy consideration.”

“I have decided to withdraw from the race in favour of this young man(Mr Oketch). I believe he is the right candidate for this seat and I urge you to vote for him,” said Mr Hodo.

The move by Hodo, who was the only candidate from the larger Kuria region is likely to be a boost for Oketch.
