Sports enthusiast Mercy Ravoga, friends team up to show love at Good Samaritan Children’s Home.

Ravoga mobilised her friends through her Tucheze Mtaani Initiative to show love to the vulnerable children at the home on valentines day.

This was in partnership with Migori Youth FC led by head coach Edward Manoah.

The group donated different items including sanitary and food items.

The team had a short recreational session where they engaged in various games with the children including, football, egg competition among others.

They also had a sit-down with the over 100 young children, who often are alone in the enclosed orphanage, to cheer them up on this years February 14 valentine.

Speaking at the event, Ravoga urged other well wishers to spare some time and supports such vulnerable individuals in the society, so that they don’t feel left out.

Migori Youth head coach Edward Manoah on the other hand said the visit was a learning session for his players.

According Manoah, it was prudent for the players to experience life outside the field by engaging in charity activities to shape their lives.
